The Gift of Ménage à Trois Wine Butter

We see new cooking trends arise every year, but none have captivated us quite like wine butter. Just seeing those two words together makes us swoon. If you’re anything like us, you already love cooking with real butter, and of course, you don’t mind spilling a little Ménage à Trois California White in your shrimp scampi.
 
Naturally, when we discovered the almost endless flavor possibilities of wine butter, we knew we had to share them with you. This accoutrement is versatile and easy to create, plus, it tastes and looks amazing on top of a thick, meaty steak. Don’t take our word for it, though. Next time you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and go exploring for new taste sensations, we hope you’ll experiment with one of these tasty Wine butter recipes with your desired Ménage à Trois wine.

Butter + Ménage Silk+ Sharp White Cheddar — Eat atop water crackers or use it to make mac ‘n’ cheese.
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup grated sharp white cheddar cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Ménage Silk

How to prepare:
Mix all ingredients in a mini food processor until smooth.
Then scoop butter onto wax or parchment paper and roll into a log. Store in the freezer.

Butter + Ménage Cabernet Sauvignon + Shallot — Douse steak with this butter after cooking it to perfection in a skillet.
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1/2 shallot
- 2 Tablespoons Ménage à Trois Cabernet Sauvignon
How to prepare:
Mix, mix, mix! Roll, roll, roll.

Butter + Ménage Chardonnay + Dill + Lemon Zest — Top barbecued salmon or eat with pita bread.
Ingredients you’ll need:
1 stick butter, room temperature
- 2 Tablespoons Ménage à Trois Chardonnay
- 1 Tablespoon dill
- zest from one lemon
How to Prepare:
Mix the butter first to help when incorporating the other ingredients.
Also, really push the wax paper under the butter as you start to roll.
