Stir Things Up With Frozen Fruit Swizzle Sticks

Forbidden fruit may be the sweetest, but frozen fruit might just be the most irresistible of all. We dare you to stir up something new and exciting by slipping frozen fruit swizzle sticks into your glass. Sweet, icy fruits enrich the flavors in chilled wines like our Ménage à Trois California Rosé or Moscato, adding a frosty little bite that keeps things cool till the last sip.
 
Best of all? Making these icy morsels couldn’t be easier. Forget complicated couplings: For this to work, you’ll only need swizzle sticks or skewers and several varieties of fresh fruit. Grapes, berries, melon, apples, pears, and peaches are all wonderful options for pairing with wine. While the berries are ready to go, you can use a melon baller to create bite-sized bits from the melons, apples, and other larger fruits. Then, simply skewer the fruits and place on a baking sheet. Cover in plastic wrap and place in the freezer for three hours or until frozen. Your swizzle sticks are now ready to take a dip in your favorite varietal.
