Watermelon & Feta Bites: The Crowd-Pleasing Appetizer.

It just wouldn’t be summer without sinking your teeth into a consummately ripe, succulent slice of watermelon. It’s sweet and sumptuous, dripping with life’s simple delights. Now imagine biting into it and also tasting the lush savory taste of feta cheese, finished with a smooth balsamic glaze. Talk about a Ménage à Trois!​

In honor of warm weather and summer around the corner, we’ve got a refreshing, flawless watermelon recipe. The best part is it requires very little prep, which is sure to maximize your mingling pleasure. This Mediterranean-inspired hors d’oeuvre travels by way of toothpick, so you can effortlessly share with all of your friends. Once you’ve got everything perfectly placed, serve it with our crisp Ménage à Trois California White and let your mouth water. To be really decadent, you can drizzle some of your Ménage à Trois California White over the watermelon as well. ​

Recipe ingredients:​

- 2 cups cubed watermelon​
- Pour a dash of Ménage à Trois California White over each watermelon bite, if you choose​
- One 10-ounce package feta cheese, cut into cubes ​
- Balsamic glaze​

Instructions: ​

1. Assemble watermelon feta appetizer bites by layering a cube of watermelon, then feta cheese, and then topping it with another cube of watermelon onto a cocktail skewer or toothpick.​
2. If making ahead of time, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until about 15-25 minutes before serving.​
3. Just before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
