Ignite Your Night with a Little Spontaneity with this Date Night Jar
February 26, 2018
Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in the same old routine when going on dates. Whether it’s been a long day at the office or you’re just running on empty with ideas for the evening, our Date Night Jar solves this dilemma.
On a cold winter day or evening, sit down with your significant other and add a spark of creativity and chance to your relationship by brainstorming a bunch of ideas with your significant other. Whether you come up with ideas as a team or you each write your own down, selecting a future night’s date will build anticipation and excitement.
We do have one rule to abide by: when drawing a card from the jar, you must do whatever it says.
Here’s how to make your own.
What you need:
- Glass jar or bowl
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- String
How to make:
1. Decorate the outside of your jar or bowl to your preference.
2. Sit down with your partner and write down as many date ideas that come to mind.
3. Once finished, roll up the paper and tie them shut with some string.
4. Place all your ideas in the jar and set it aside until a night needs a little jumpstart.
Date Night Idea Suggestions:
- Go see the highest-rated feature film at your local movie theater, no matter what the movie is about.
- Take a local art class.
- Sign up for a cooking class together.
- Go for drinks at a local landmark.
- Visit a museum to see a featured exhibit.
