Sure, as a rule, white wines do pair stunningly with most fish. However, other wines pair better with different fish recipes.

Here are a few quick tips to pick just the right wines for your fish dishes:
The featured Lemon Salmon with Garlic Rice recipe is the perfect match for a light-bodied white wine, like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.
Oysters and our fun and bubbly Ménage à Trois Prosecco are an amazing pairing/combo.
Lobsters, scallops, mussels and clams, pair enticingly with our Ménage à Trois white wines.
When serving lobster as the main course, or in a salad, we recommend Sauvignon Blanc, or Chardonnay.
For seafood pastas and risottos, even the ones with fresh tomato-based pasta sauces, Ménage à Trois Pinot Grigio offers the right light-bodied pairing.
If you decide to go French and prepare the Classic Nicoise Salad, Ménage à Trois Rosé Wine is a superb match.

Dish your fish with this summer-easy recipe, and pair with Ménage à Trois Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.

Lemon Salmon with Garlic Rice (SERVES: 4)

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 cup jasmine rice
- Add 1 cup of Ménage à Trois Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken stock
- 2 lemons, cut into wheels
- 1 pound fresh salmon
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoon salted butter
- 1/4 cup Freshly Chopped Parsley

DIRECTIONS:

1. Prepare rice according to package instructions.
2. Add garlic to water before steaming.
3. Fluff with a fork and set aside.
4. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat add chicken stock and lemons; bring to a low simmer.
5. Season salmon with salt and pepper, anything else you enjoy and add to skillet.
6. Turn salmon to cook evenly until pink, about 2 minutes, or to your preferred taste
7. Turn off heat and add butter; slowly stir to create a creamy sauce.
8. Toss in parsley and serve immediately with garlic rice.

For your next summer soiree, serve up something to excite yourself, and your guests, in a most unexpected way.
Behold, our Ménage à Trois Rosé Watermelon Summer Sorbet.

This delicious taste of decadence brings together the madcap thrillogy of our Ménage à Trois Rosé, with its lively blend of Merlot, Syrah and Gewürztraminer, and the sweet, juicy flavors of watermelon. It makes for an absolutely divine after dinner dessert, or a cool and kickin’ weekend refresher course.

Yes, it’s summer time. A sublime time to prepare and share the goose bump-giving, spunky spice, tropical fruit, and dazzling body of this
Ménage à Trois Rosé Watermelon Summer Sorbet.

Ingredients: (Serves up to 4 People)
- 2 cups Ménage à Trois Rosé
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups cubed watermelon, 4 small wedges for serving
- 1 gallon Zipper-top bag (2 bags)
- 1 cup kosher salt
- 2-3 cups ice
- Don’t forget to add fresh mint leaves, sprig of rosemary, or basil as garnish!
- You’ll need a food processor, medium sauce pan, ice cream maker (or Ziploc bags, ice and salt)
 
Directions:
1. In a food processor, combine Rosé, sugar and cubed watermelon.
2. Pour ingredients into a sauce pan over medium-low heat, continuously stirring until ingredients are thoroughly combined.
3. Let cool at room temperature.
4. Once cooled pour into your ice cream maker, and follow manufacturer directions.
 
If you don’t have a ice cream maker, no problem, do what we do, which is way more fun, and hands on:
a) Pour your sorbet mixture into a Ziploc bag and seal
b) Then in a second Ziploc bag, add 2 cups ice, ½ cup salt along with the first bag holding the sorbet mixture
c) Massage until you reach desired consistency

Serving:
a) To serve, scoop sorbet into desired dish.
b) Garnish with wedge of fresh watermelon and a fresh mint leaf, sprig of basil or rosemary. Enjoy!

Where did the idea of French kissing come from? We know Paris is the city of love and dreamy accents, but how did the French kiss come to be?​

The French kiss was only recently added to the dictionary. Prior to that, “galocher,” the verb that means “to kiss with tongues,” was straight-up slang. How could the creators of the French kiss not even define their type of smooching? Well, they didn’t exactly come up with the phrase “French kiss.” ​

In fact, it was actually once called a “Florentine kiss.” According to the Associated Press, French kissing came from British and American soldiers returning home from Europe after World War I. Many chose to greet their wives and girlfriends with the sensual kissing adventurousness they saw from the French. Even though we credit the English soldiers for the popular term, the French were the ones who showed us all how it’s done. ​

So we invite you to do as the French do. After all, we all know Paris is the city of love, and you’re going to love our signature Ménage à Trois White Wine Cocktail: The French Kiss.​

The French Kiss cocktail recipe: ​
4 oz. of any Ménage à Trois White Wine​
0.5 oz. pineapple juice​
0.5 oz. raspberry syrup ​

Directions:​
1. Pour all ingredients over ice in a shaker, cap, and shake vigorously. ​
2. Pour into a martini glass. ​
3. Garnish using fresh raspberries and fresh or dried pineapple. You may also do a partial caramel rim with shaved white chocolate and a raspberry. The latter is a bit more Parisienne. ​

Now imagine biting into it and also tasting the lush savory taste of feta cheese, finished with a smooth balsamic glaze. Talk about a Ménage à Trois!​

In honor of warm weather and summer around the corner, we’ve got a refreshing, flawless watermelon recipe. The best part is it requires very little prep, which is sure to maximize your mingling pleasure. This Mediterranean-inspired hors d’oeuvre travels by way of toothpick, so you can effortlessly share with all of your friends. Once you’ve got everything perfectly placed, serve it with our crisp Ménage à Trois California White and let your mouth water. To be really decadent, you can drizzle some of your Ménage à Trois California White over the watermelon as well. ​

Recipe ingredients:​

- 2 cups cubed watermelon​
- Pour a dash of Ménage à Trois California White over each watermelon bite, if you choose​
- One 10-ounce package feta cheese, cut into cubes ​
- Balsamic glaze​

Instructions: ​

1. Assemble watermelon feta appetizer bites by layering a cube of watermelon, then feta cheese, and then topping it with another cube of watermelon onto a cocktail skewer or toothpick.​
2. If making ahead of time, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until about 15-25 minutes before serving.​
3. Just before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze.

When it comes to crafting this silky varietal, our winemakers weave their magic with grapes from the marine-influenced vineyards in California’s Central Coast, North Coast, and Lodi-Delta appellations. Pinot Noir with seamless cherry flavors, Malbec with velvety softness, and Petite Sirah with alluring depth come together in a blissful blend through unique fermentation methods that result in a delicately textured, ultra-smooth wine with supple tannins. Grapes are cold-soaked and then gently pressed to silky perfection.

Ingredients:
• 2 strawberries, hulled, sliced
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 2 ounces Tequila
• 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
• 3/4 ounce Ménage à Trois Rosé

Directions:
Muddle strawberries and sugar in a cocktail shaker until lightly crushed. Add tequila, lemon juice, Ménage à Trois Rosé, and a single large ice cube. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds. Pour drink with ice cube into a rocks glass (do not strain) and enjoy.

They called it Ménage à Trois. Not just because it was a revolutionary three-grape blend, but because like its taste it deserved a name that would never blend in. Today, Ménage à Trois continues exploring and creating two-, three-, and four-grape Red Blends, White Blends, and even a Gold Chardonnay wine blend like only Ménage à Trois could.

Welcome to our new Ménage à Trois Wine series called “Grapes to Glory” – every month, we’ll be bringing you captivating “Grapes to Glory” stories about each one of our wine blends – from the inside out.

So get ready to explore your deepest, darkest desires. Savor the pleasures of the dark with mysterious Midnight, a sumptuous wine that goes beyond your basic red with flavors like bold blackberry and plush spiced plum. It’s dark, it’s daring, it’s dusky – and it’s dangerously delicious.

When it comes to crafting this expressive blend, our winemakers spare no expense. And lucky for us, they aren’t afraid of the dark. As a matter of fact, they lavish in it, embracing the deep, shadowy boldness that defines this gorgeous garnet varietal. The result is a truly uninhibited blend – something deeper, darker, and more uninhibited than ever before.

In true Ménage à Trois style, Midnight subscribes to our “the more, the merrier” mantra with a blend of not three, but four different types of grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sarah, and Petit Verdot. Merlot adds a plush, velvety texture, while Cabernet Sauvignon offers elegance and power. Petite Sirah lends inky intensity, and Petit Verdot imparts a deep violet color and concentrated fruit. To round out the flavors, the wine is aged in French and American oak. The result is a wine that leaves an indelible impression.

It’s mysterious and dark, soft and sensual – just like Midnight.
