Mulled wine is a winter classic, but a Ménage à Trois Mulled Gold Chardonnay brings so much more taste to the table. December is a divine time to rouse all your senses with our enticingly sublime Mulled Gold cocktail.

Though Mulled wine is famously prepared with red wine, all of us at Ménage à Trois like to “experiment threely” and we know you do, too. Well, there’s no matchup for a Mulled wine cocktail made with our Ménage à Trois Gold Chardonnay. And to create an even more tantalizing tasting experience we suggest some cinnamon, rosemary and oranges.

Have fun cuddling up to this warm spirited cocktail and of course whomever you share it with.

Ménage à Trois Mulled Gold Ingredients
Batch Recipe (Serves 4-6)
1 bottle Menage a Trois Gold or Chardonnay
3 tbsp honey or ¼ cup granulated sugar
1 lemon (thinly sliced)
2 cinnamon sticks
3 pods of star anise
10 pods of whole cloves
10 pods of whole allspice
Additional lemon (thinly sliced) and cinnamon sticks for garnish.

Over medium heat, combine Menage a Trois wine and honey or sugar. Mix until combined. Add in lemon slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, whole cloves, and whole allspice. Heat for 20 minutes until desired strength of spice is reached. Do not simmer as this will burn off the alcohol. To serve, strain liquid to remove spices. Pour cocktail into mug, serve hot and enjoy!

Suggested Garnish: you may add in fresh thin sliced lemons and a cinnamon stick or you may garnish with lemon wheel with or without cinnamon stick.
