A Frozen Splendor: The Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé Granita Cocktail

Welcome spring and our splendor in a glass to any Sunday Brunch with our Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé Granita Cocktail. Gloriously gorgeous and totally chill, this icy-cool recipe refreshes your palate with a sexy zing.

If you’re not familiar with Italian Granita, now’s your chance to get to know this belissima treat. The semi-frozen dessert is traditionally made from frozen sugar, water, and your choice of delectable flavorings.

In typical Ménage à Trois fashion (and staying true to this Italian romance), we couldn’t resist adding a flirtatiously fun twist to the recipe in the form of Sparkling Rosé. Our winemakers went to legendary Veneto in search of the perfect grapes, and we must admit—it was worth the trip. Bubbling over with fresh berry flavors and the delicate scent of rose petals, Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé adds the perfect pop of effervescent bliss to our Granita Cocktail.

Whip up this sassy Italian cocktail for guests and taste how it gives a sumptuous new meaning to your Sunday best.

Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé Granita Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé
- 2 cups strawberries, extra for garnish if desired

Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé Granita Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, boil water then add sugar. Once sugar has dissolved add strawberries. Bring to a simmer and simmer for ten minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
2. Once mixture has cooled, pour into a blender and blend on high until mixture is liquified.
3. Pour mixture into a 2-quart sealable, freezer-proof baking dish, stir in Ménage à Trois Sparkling Rosé.
4. Freeze for 2 hours.
5. Stir mixture, breaking up any chunks, re-cover, and freeze at least 3 hours and up to 2 days.
6. When ready to serve, scrape mixture with a fork (using the back of the fork to smoosh any chunks) to create soft mounds of icy ”granita." Then use an ice cream scoop and serve immediately.
7. Garnish with sliced strawberries and/or edible butterflies!
