It is Winesday, one of our favorite days of the week. While others are insipidly proclaiming, “hump day” as their mid-week highlight, we are celebrating the true spirit of the day by satisfying our cravings and having something to look forward to this evening.
Craving #1, bubbles. We will come up with a reason to make any day a great day for Prosecco. Craving #2, oysters. Thank goodness the whole do-not-eat-oysters-in-months-without-an-“r” is a myth because we’ve been jonesing for these refreshing delights in the midst of these hottest days of summer.
While we like to tease, we won’t make you wait for this one. Despite the 100 ways to prepare oysters, we are particularly fond of this Oyster Threesome from our friend John Beck at He Needs Food and feel they are worth revisiting with a refreshing glass of Ménage á Trois Prosecco, of course.
