Our Ménage à Trois Gold Chardonnay and Power Bowl Recipe—The Pair with Flare

Just as Ménage à Trois Gold is no ordinary chardonnay, this Power Bowl recipe is no ordinary field of greens. Tossed with a variety of ​fresh-picked vegetables, plant-based grains, and legumes, it’s deliciously bold, nutrient rich and pairs perfectly with our gold-standard Chard.​

Ménage à Trois Gold – Power Bowl​
Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS:​

  • 1 pack Quinoa (10 oz. or serves 4) 
  • 1 pack lentils (serves 4)
  • 2 medium zucchini, sliced lengthwise and grilled
  • 2 medium squash, sliced lengthwise and grilled
  • 2 beets, roasted and sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 radicchio, sliced in half
  • 2 apples, quartered
  • 1 cup whole almonds
  • ½ head bib lettuce, washed
  • 4 sprigs of dill

Ménage à Trois Gold Lemon Dressing

  • ½ cup Ménage à Trois Gold
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 2-3 lemons)
  • ¼-½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 scallions, white and green parts, finely chopped

DIRECTIONS:​

The Lentils:

  1. Follow directions on package. 

The Quinoa:

  1. Follow directions on package. 

Ménage à Trois Gold Lemon Dressing

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in bowl.​​

The Toppings:

  1. Place the veggies (zucchini and squash) in a large rimmed pan or baking dish. Pour over ¼ cup of the dressing, tossing to coat. Reserve the remaining dressing for the bowls.
  2. Heat an outdoor grill or grill pan to medium heat. Grill the veggies for 5 minutes, flip, then grill an additional 4-5 minutes until golden and just cooked through. Remove to a pan and set aside.

Assemble the Power Bowl:

  1. Divide quinoa into 4 large bowls and top it off with lentils, bib lettuce, grilled zucchini, grilled squash, radicchio, apple, beets and cucumber. 
  2. Drizzle each bowl with Ménage à Trois Gold lemon dressing.
  3. Sprinkle with almonds and fresh dill.
