Our Modern Take On the Salted Caramel Old Fashioned Made with Ménage à Trois Bourbon Barrel Cabernet
Why just stir things up, when it’s way more fun to shake things up! That’s exactly what you’ll be doing when you treat your guests to our Ménage à Trois Bourbon Barrel Cabernet Salted Caramel Old Fashioned. This recipe is one for the ages, since our Bourbon Barrel Cab is aged three months in 6-year-old Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. Mmm-mmm, it’s that good.
Cocktail Ingredients: (Make one at a time in a shaker)
- Ice
- 2 oz. Ménage à Trois Bourbon Barrel
- ¾ oz. salted caramel syrup
- ¼ oz. vanilla syrup
- 1 dash chocolate bitters
- salt for rim
- Garnish with dried orange wheel
Directions
- Dip rim in salted caramel syrup, then in salt. Set aside.
- Combine all ingredients into a shaker, shake and pour into a glass of your choice.
- Top with dried orange wheel.
