With eight days of celebration, things can get busy quickly. Let Ménage à Trois wines make your nights a little easier (and sweeter) with our simple latke recipe, paired perfectly with our spicy and smoky Bourbon Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon.
What You Will Need:
- 1 lb potatoes
- 1 small onion
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 cheesecloth
How To Make It:
- Peel potatoes and shred them along with the onion.
- Place potato shreds into a cheesecloth and squeeze out as much water as possible.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, flour, and salt.
- Combine all ingredients and toss with your hands.
- Preheat your pan with ½ cup of olive oil. Once hot, place a spoonful of the batter evenly in the pan, and flatten with the back of the spoon.
- Fry until golden and serve with your topping of choice (we picked applesauce and crème fraîche).
