Recipe & Directions for the Spellbound Color-Shifting Cocktail:
Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz gin
- ½ oz elderflower liqueur
- 2 oz Ménage à Trois Midnight
- 2 oz sparkling water
- ½ oz simple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon butterfly pea powder
DIRECTIONS
- Add the butterfly pea powder to the sparkling water and whisk until dissolved. It will fizz up a bit, so use a tall glass or liquid measuring cup so you don’t make a mess.
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, gin, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, and butterfly mixture. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
- Pour into a glass.
- Slowly pour Ménage à Trois Midnight over a spoon, and watch your cocktail turn from vibrant purple/blue into a deep red
